Brooklyn Bridge Shower Curtain

Once upon a time I spent a weekend in DC (see our Washington DC shower Curtain ) .  The plan was to visit dc, then head north, pass through New York City, then make our way into boston and land in marblehead ma.  The trip was great but was also a bit of a train wreck.

Here in the Midwest, one can travel pretty much anywhere without forethought, but not so in the northeast; I’m specifically referring to my arch enemy:  tole roads!  I’m a credit card guy.  I use it for 99% of my purchases because if you pay your monthly bill off in full, you get free stuff!

SO we hit Baltimore and bam!  tole road!  We use half of our 12 dollars 30 minutes out of DC.  By the time we hit the end of the state, we run out of cash, try to contact our bank to set up an ATM card.  Our bank is US Bank. Their name implicates that one could find a branch anywhere in the US….well, you, like me are carrying an incorrect assumption.  IN order to set up an account, we had to go to an actual bank location, but there wasn’t one for several hundred miles due west.  FML.  So we decided to reroute our due north plan and head through Philidelphia to avoid the booths.  The plan worked decently, and ironcially, a couple years later, I got at the same place in Philidelphia.

Eventually, we made it towards NYC, but we honestly didn’t want to go there because our lack of cash.  Google Maps deceived us, and we  went into the Big Apple, and eventually, we saw the one great icon, The Brooklyn Bridge Shower Curtain.
