Coastal Beach Shower Curtain

I realize we recently visited this topic, but in lieu of my summer vacation being spent on the Puget Sound, it’s hard for a unique shower curtain enthusiast like myself not to write about my life and my surroundings.

Currently, my husband and I are staying in a small chalet off of Hood Canal.  Although Hood Canal looks like a river, and is hours away from the sea, its waters are actually not fresh.  In fact, last fall, there were a very high number of orca (or killer whales) swimming about in this area.  Tell me that wouldn’t be awesome for an animal shower curtain!

As your probably know, the Northwest as a whole, but specifically the Seattle area, is HUGE on eco-friendly lifestyles.  If you ever visit the area, which a good way to do so is via VRBO, you really must visit a local farmers market & pick up a bag of fresh Rainier cherries.  With that being said, the chalet we are staying in has a hemp shower curtain hanging from a curved shower curtain rod.  I asked the owner the reason for the fabric, and to no surprise, the intent was to reduce the amount of plastics being used in the world.  Honestly, I think the idea is admirable, but in a small beach cottage, I’d expect something more themed appropriate. Thanks for reading, and I hope your bathroom is filled with your own novelty!
