Everyone loves a vacation, and why not. Kick back, grab a margarita, sip on some gin and juice, listen to Jimmy Buffet, smoke a cuban cigar, read a new novel, watch some tv, take late night and early morning walks, relax, eat sea food, dance to your feet fall off. Perfect.
Almost perfect. I want to propose a series of don’t dos to make your coastal vacation a better experience, and I’ll alot some attention to designer shower curtain fauxpau.
Don’t drink to much. Drunkeness is not attractice, and it destroys the next day. Experience everything, but in moderation.
Plan for Fun: Lots of people land at their luxury location and find themselves up a creek do to a lack of planning. Call ahead, make reservations, secure your rom.
Stop Planning: Get over yourself you type A hyper planners and cut loose! Spontaneity can be an awesome asset to an awesome evening.
Pick a great location: Beach decor can be awesome but is so often done so poorly that I want to tear down the sand castle. Don’t jsut choose, be choosey and find a place that is luxurious, designed well, and super awesome.
Don’t avoid the ocean because of fear. Don’t be a baby.
