Do you ever catch yourself in a moment thinking, “I feel really at home right now.” Whether it be in your actual home or you are a guest elsewhere, I’m sure we all have those momentary, lovely feelings of coziness and being at home.
For me something that says “home” would be an awesome coffee mug, sitting on a porch in the chill of the morning, with a cup of hot coffee or tea, sitting on a swing or big chair, looking at foggy mountains. Now, I live in the city and always have, so I don’t get to experience that often–but that all speaks “home” to me. And really, the accessory that makes it is the mug.
It’s beautiful, has earthy colors and design elements to it, and fits nicely in one hand while the other cups it for warmth. Mmm, so good.
Now if only we had some foggy mountains…

Shag carpet…is it in or out? It may be out in the design world, but as far as the coolness and coziness world, it’s totally in.
Ok, so that’s pretty icky. But really, there’s a better way!
We may not have shaggy-chic shower curtains, but we definitely have Shabby Chic shower curtains (see what I did there?) to accent and compliment that old shag rug you don’t know what to do with, but don’t want to throw away.

Who doesn’t love the crocheted blankets Grandma made 50 years ago that have come full circle and are now cool?

Ever thought about having Grandma’s shower curtain? Definitely not the drab brown one she’s had since the 70s with the towels to match (time and color). I don’t know what it’s like out there for you all, but over in this section of the country, fall is being coy and playful; unwilling to fully commit and teasing us with crisp mornings and evenings, with hot days in between. Don’t get me wrong…it’s awesome. But I’m a fall kind of person and am happy to wear sweaters and scarves all the time. If you’re looking for a novelty shower curtain, you’ve come to the right place. Who doesn’t love a good plaid shirt? Fall is making it’s way into the picture and nothing says “fall” better than your dad’s cozy, plaid flannel shirt. Comfy, worn, warm.
Well why don’t you just hang your dad’s shirt as a shower curtain?
Ok, that really wouldn’t work. It would get moldy because it would probably never dry right, it wouldn’t keep the floor from wetness because one shirt can’t cover a whole shower, and your shirt would be ruined. Good thing we’ve got some unique shower curtains here! Consider a plaid shower curtain. Bet that kinda blows your mind!
