Most of us don’t consider a custom shower curtain as a form of remodeling. I know that when I think about a change of scenery in the kitchen or bathroom, new fixtures and the expensive jobs I probably need to hire someone else to accomplish are the first things that come to mind. However, if I can build a practical budget, there are a lot of ways to make something old look brand new.
A good cleaning is probably an overdue starting point, followed by changing out an old theme for a new one. This could mean simply purchasing kitchen linens, flatware, or cabinet handles. In the bathroom, a new shabby chic shower curtain is a great starting point. All it takes is a little creativity, ingenuity, and willingness to think outside of the norm, and you have the ball rolling on a low cost, highly personalized remodel.
