see what i mean!  these kittens are so cute.  It would be great to turn this entire website into a series of cat shower curtains, but I”m not to sure how I’d go about turning the video clips; maybe it would be something like a fantastic novelty shower curtain!

So what though, right?  The title of my blog is kind of stupid but in our store, we’ve been dealing with the issue of which of the two we want to focus our marketing efforts towards.  Both have avid followers and both have strong potentials for room themes adn decorations.  Growing up, I had a huge beach decoration going in my room, with full wall murals and all; however, our accountant loves cat s and her house is filled to the hilt w/ all things cat.

So now I’m calling for a pole:  of the two unique categories, which would you prefer:  Cat Shower Curtains or Beach Shower Curtains and furthermore, would you prefer a vinyl shower curtain or a fabric shower curtain?

. . .it’s back to school time.

As depressing as it may seem, back to school doesn’t have to be the end of your life or the end of that relationship that started at the beach.  It can be even better that that if it means that you are headed back to your college dorm.

When shopping for your back to school basics, have you considered what would make this year in college the most awesome? There are just a few short weeks before this year’s freshmen students will be heading into the dorm rooms of colleges across the nation.  By now you have probably secured their miniature fridge, a microwave, several mounds of food, and even toiletry items in a cute carrier for the community restrooms.  Why not celebrate your student’s departure from your home by sending them off with a unique shower curtain depicting their school’s mascot?  As I am a Kentucky native, most students here are clamoring for admission to the University of Kentucky.  If your student makes it, congratulate them with a cat shower curtain that features “Scratch” (aka, “Big Blue”).

Several other colleges and universities around the country have cat mascots.  The great thing about a funky shower curtain like this, is that it can incredibly versatile.

• First, a student can actually use the curtain for it’s function purpose in the shower if they are lucky enough to have a private bathroom or a suite.
• Second, purchase several cat shower curtains and use them as drapes in your student’s room.  This is especially a great idea if you find a fabric shower curtain.
• Third, what could be better than a having a giant wall tapestry of your school’s mascot?
• Fourth, use your cloth cat curtain as a light bed throw on top of your sheets during the hot months rather than a blanket.

My many visits to the Northwest has opened up my eyes to the growing popularity of these pet pamering businesses, so it’s no suprise to see the trend moving to the Mid-west.  Cincinnati is home to Pet Boutiques, specializing in clothing and treats, Pet Resorts, where your fluffy one can be pampered while you are getting pampered in Florida, Pet Gyms, so your pet can get in shape, and Specialty pet food stores, where your doggie eats organic, just like everyone else.  

So, with the influx of these luxuries one has to ask the question, what does my pet really want?  Does your pet have their own bed, closet for all their outing clothes, and their own leash rack?  What about their own room?

Devoting one room to your little feline friend is a great way to show them you love them and that you want them to have some privacy, and a bathroom is the perfect room!  It is easy cleaned, and usually vented, so you can keep a litter box in it.  And becuase it is so small, you can decorate it to suite the needs of your pet.  

A cat shower curtain, for instance, is a great idea for an only cat, so he/she can have pictures to look at.  Also, since an extra bathtub may not get used that often, you could use it to groom your pet.  Designer doggie bowls would be perfect in a bathroom, since spilt water doesn’t hurt the floor.  There are many ways you can show love your pet, but giving them thier own room allows them to have something personal.

What a great clean way to clean your canine companion, feline friend, or other pet.

I just came across this shower curtain made specifically for pet owners.  It’s made of durable vinyl and has built-in gloves for easy bathing and massaging.  Whoever thought of this pet shower curtain is a genius!  Think about it, I can finally give my cat a bath without her soaking me from head to toe!  If you know someone who is always impossible to shop for on their birthday or Christmas, this may be the item to put on your gift-getting list – who doesn’t want a Christmas shower curtain that allows for ease of cleaning our lovely pets?  Now you can finally enjoy givign your furry friend a bath, even if they don’t.
