Spring Cleaning!

Even though it is not quite summer weather yet it is a great time to do some spring cleaning and make some changes. Over the course of the winter most of us develop some cabin fever which gets us out and about more but also makes less of a job to make improvements all around the house. Just like it is not good to have the Christmas tree up all year it would also be a great to make a change if you still have your Christmas shower curtain still up!

Even though there are more options than having to go to the other extreme with a tropical shower curtain, it would not be a bad idea to follow the seasons. So while you are going through the closet and cleaning out clothes and bringing out warmer clothes, take a chance with a new shower curtain!

It’s the end of March and a lot of things usually happen this time of year. Primarily, we finally get a glimpse of Spring for those of us in the northern hemisphere and of course everyone and their brother fills out a bracket for the NCAA Men’s Basketball tournament. Both are quality elements to the month of March, but we feel there are more.

Spring cleaning is a familiar term but is not always a familiar practice. There is something about warmer temperatures that energize us to take on our home that has probably been ransacked over the course of the winter. On top of the normal cleaning, the shift from cold weather clothes to their counterparts, spring cleaning is also a great time to make some decor adjustments. With different seasons come different designs and colors. A Christmas shower curtain won’t be relevant until a potential Christmas in July campaign so its time to take it out of the game for awhile. I’m not sure about you all, but I’m more likely to get fired up about a palm tree shower curtain scene than the green and red we have wore out recently!

According to floridapalmtrees.net there are nearly species of palms. That’s pretty amazing, of course it doesn’t hold a candle to the number of different bathrooms a sweet palm tree shower curtain could improve! That is the cool thing, that no one home is exactly the same and a new shower curtain and fit in to a wide variety of designs and styles a family may have.

Now that the holiday season is over and the Christmas shower curtain talk has died down to some degree, it is no wonder our minds quickly toward more tropical types of products. Who doesn’t like to a have the occasional mental getaway to paradise? Let your shower curtain aid in the process!

According to recent article in the Wall Street Journal, people who enjoy and seek to take care of their shower curtains have a luxury item available to help them do so. A new washer has come out with a wide variety of settings, even one that would be perfect for almost all of our unique shower curtains!

I would say most of our designs (such as beach, horse, or Christmas shower curtains) would be good to wash with this. However, I would proceed with caution if you have a purchased an especially delicate item such as the hand painted shower curtain.

In Oklahoma, there is a non-profit that makes shower curtains for government agencies with the labor of those who are blind. Their mission is to empower those without sight maximum independance and quality of life. Time flies when your having fun, I cannot believe it is already into the fall season. This trend will definitely continue and the Christmas season will be here soon! To accommodate our customers we already have Christmas Shower curtains in place at our store.

So go ahead and prepare for when it is time to put away the summer beach shower curtain and installing something a little more current. Everyone will have a Christmas tree, but how many will have a Christmas shower curtain? Exactly.

If you are like me, you aren’t afraid to shop out of season if it means a sweet deal. Patience is a virtue, couple that with some strategic planning and you are saving money without missing out on quality items! This is no different for house household items. Now is a great time to look at seasonal items such as a nice Christmas shower curtain.

Now I understand why this may sound backwards. Why would I want to even think about the coldness of winter during these last few days of summer? I get it, I do, so click here and check out some more appropriate lines of decor for your home this summer, personally I’m a fan of beach shower curtains being in a landlocked state.

The more time I spend in people’s homes, the more I begin to realize that there is a bigger investment going on than just simply a mortgage and household accessories. People are investing their hopes and their dreams. This may sound like a real estate company commercial, but I am beginning to really see this. Whether one seeks their own fulfillment of personal happiness or dreams of a place where family and community can burgeon, everyone is putting belief in a possible future that is believed to come with this property.

As strange as it may sound, a bathroom and even something as easily overlooked as a novelty shower curtain is an extremely practical form of an investment in these dreams. It is a place designed for comfort, to meet the needs of the owner and their loved ones. Every room in a home can be considered a piece of the investment pie, and the bathroom should be recognized as one of the greater aspects of this fact.

My daughter is approaching her first year of life. What a journey it has been for our family. She was born into a pink recieving blanket. That was right around when we bought our first christmas shower curtain, early in December. The amount of love generated within our home blows us away. I never knew that I could look at another human being and be stirred so deeply, the love of a parent to a child is trully a poweful force.

Her room is filled with modern decorations, big broad shapes with cool lines connecting them, a sweet hand made mobile, a scandanavian crib. Lately, as she has grown in wisdom and stature, we’ve noticed that the majority of clothing available for our daughter is themed with a touch of princess. This doe not bother me because she is my love. Princess Shower Curtain.
