An upcoming decorating trend for 2012 is the mixing and matching of fabrics such as layering silk with wool. Of course you want to steer clear of these materials in the water; the result seems rather unpleasant. As far as we’re concerned, there can be mixing and matching of these textures through simple substitutions. The great thing about floral print is that it works for all seasons! Since we’re in the midst of autumn, what better than a fall floral? I don’t know about you but fall is definitely my favorite season of the year. Earth tones, warm colors, cozy feelings, smells of spiced cider…MMM! Nothing beats it. Not to mention the world is exploding in color.

Jump right into the season with a lovely floral shower curtain for your bathroom.

Shag carpet…is it in or out? It may be out in the design world, but as far as the coolness and coziness world, it’s totally in.

Ok, so that’s pretty icky. But really, there’s a better way!

Some people have multiple bathrooms. One common scenario would be that the parents would share a bathroom while the kids would share another.
