The good thing about shower curtains is that they bring a certain luxury to your home; you create whatever feel you want, and as soon as you step into your bathroom, you’ve entered a new and wonderful space.

What or where is your favorite fall retreat?

Well why don’t you just hang your dad’s shirt as a shower curtain?

Ok, that really wouldn’t work. It would get moldy because it would probably never dry right, it wouldn’t keep the floor from wetness because one shirt can’t cover a whole shower, and your shirt would be ruined. Good thing we’ve got some unique shower curtains here! Consider a plaid shower curtain. Bet that kinda blows your mind!

No? Ok, it’s still cool and we still have ‘em.

I was at dinner with friends and one, half-jokingly, said, “When did it get so cold?”

Three of us replied, in unison, “Today.”

Conversation over; no argument there! With the changing of the seasons comes the adjusting of the thermostat. Sort of. In our apartment we try to keep it the same all year until it gets unbearable. Our only relief: The Shower. In the summer it was ice-cold showers to get shelter from the heat–though we would sweat as soon as we stepped out. In the winter it was scalding-hot showers; steaming up the bathroom so we wouldn’t freeze over as soon as we got out of the shower, despite look like lobsters. Well, it’s getting to that season of hot showers. Actually, it’s the perfect medium; just pleasantly warm, the apartment air pleasantly crisp from the windows remaining open…all the time. It’s great.

Hey, we try to conserve resources as much as possible.

What are your strategies of relief from the elements of your home?

White makes all things look crisp and clean (even when your stains are showing) and black is slimming…I mean…shoot, shower curtains. Black adds elegance to any shower.

If you have black and white cats, they would make the perfect accessory to your bathroom along with your cat shower curtain.

If you really like penguins, you’re in luck; it’s trendy. In all reality, you can have a personalized shower curtain that suits your tastes. Remember: black and white make anything look good, even rubber ducks.

Whether it was watching or marching in a neighborhood parade, eating grilled burgers and ‘dogs, or cooling off with an icy beer (hopefully with a sparkler in the other hand), there are many ways to pay tribute to this country of ours.

Now I’m taking a moment to speak to the stylish women out there. Sometimes when one thinks about a fancy, stylish woman you think of lace and high heels.
