If you don’t like the idea of having your name or initials on everything and feel like your being proud there are other ways to have your home reflect your heritage.  For me, one of the houses I grew up in was in a semi rural area so a country shower curtain may be a good fit for you! However the approach, it is the little things that count in life and something as simple as switching to a unique shower curtain can at the very least be a conversation starter.

The Wild West is also known as the American Old West, or Far west.  The Wild Wet generally took place around the 19th century following the great war between the north and the south.

The West, as we understand it today is generally considered to start at the Rocky Mountains, but at the time of the Wild West’s founding, it actually began with the Louisiana purchase.  The west was anything further along that the 13 colonies.  But, the further one traveled from the Atlantic, the more wild the land became.

One of the nicest attributes to the west is its influence of the indigenous peoples’ culture and artwork.  Beautiful, colorful patterns and quilts contribute to this awesome theme.  As far as our curtains we sell, we offer everything from cowboys, horses, landscapes and southwester shower curtains.

Our manifest destiny is to carry every western shower curtain on the earth, sot that when you come to our store looking for a curtain, you are afforded a variety that is deeper and more awesome that anything else in the world.  Some people are suprised by the costs of some of these curtains, but they shouldn’t be.  The bathroom is an important part of the house, it is intimate and we spend tons of time in it.  So if you are a huge fan of western shower curtains, the price may be worth it.

Las Vegas is literally the town that does not sleep.  If you’ve never been there, believe me, it’s true.  The town is built on the idea that it’s worth ones time to fly into the middle of the hot sandy nevada wilderness, and for 3 days live in an alternative universe where you do nothing but indulge.  Tons of food, music, sports, betting, clubs, shows, art, dancing, and so on.  From Garth Brooks to Wayne Brady to Barry Mantelo, that town has it all.

I think our Las Vegas Shower Curtain is cool.  The black and white curtain features the famous welcome to las vegas sign located at the south end of the Las Vegas Strip.  The angled of the sign is interested, coming from  slightly beneath the sign. The curtain also uses the white space to resourcefully because the blank space makes the image speak even more loudly.  I hope as we continue to scan the world for all cool shower curtains, we come across more las vegas signs.  There are some really neat historic signs located in Fremont, or Down Town las Vegas.  The signs kind of represent a classic time where Vegas was booming with the Rat Pack, big hair, tuxedos and excitement.

While I don’t disagree, I’ve found that my preference is lending more towards colorful or fun shower curtains.  Color is a daring exhibition.  WHen you go bold, you put yourself at risk because you can’t just pass up the rainbow.

Here at My Unique Shower Curtains, we’ve been discussing the potential of creating our own curtains.  We would then have the ability, in theory, to add as much awesomeness to our store as we have the creativity to produce.  It would be awesome to take your favorite vector image, say an airplane or a scooter and print it onto a curtain.  If we do proceed with the idea, the next hurdle we run into is the question of color.  Do we do black shower curtains, or do we try and make then multicolored.  Put yourself in our shoes.  How would you come up with images.  How would you put them onto the curtain.  How do you keep the paint on the curtain.  Do you use color?  Will they fade?  What is the value of black and white?

So many questions!!!!!!!!

I’m a high school math teacher, so forgive me for my technicalities here, but upon investigating the space for actual showering in a typical shower with a standard straight rod vs. showering in a shower with a funky, unique, and cool curved shower curtain rod I found some undeniable facts.

1. Aesthetics alone cause the curved rods to win . . . a small but powerful modern touch to any bathroom

This is pretty boring!

2. Space . . . of the standard space given to shower, the curved shower curtain rod will typically add another 15-20% of volume to the space for your upper torso to move around . . . so for instance, if your shower normally has 50 cubic feet of space to move around in, a curved rod  would add as much as 10 cubic feet of space for showering (for reference, 10 cubic feet is the amount of space inside many refrigerator/freezers)

3. Bothersome curtain billowing in on the shower?  No more with the curved shower curtain rod . . . keeps the liner where it should be always

Those reasons alone make choosing a curved shower curtain rod easy.  So go buy a curved rod today and make your showering experience roomier than ever before, and why not add a unique shower curtain to go with your new rod?!
